Orchard House
Orchard House is set deep in the countryside, in secluded grounds with views across the valley. This idyllic location is a key part of your whole experience with us.
We design our programmes to take place at Orchard House because it offers everything we need to do what really works. Although we can work with you at a different venue, we always advise you come to us if possible as only here will you find the unique combination of space, peace and resources that make our programmes so effective.
An exceptional place
This special place has the power to change how you think, feel and act. Key to your whole experience is space. Space to think differently and open your mind to new ideas and experiences. Space to be still and relax. Space to feel, rather than do.
While you’re here you’ll enjoy some undisturbed time to call your own. You’ll be free from the constant distraction you usually face and so able to listen to your inner voice. On some parts of the farm there is no mobile signal, so if you want to really cut off and immerse yourself in your thoughts, you can.
You can enjoy walking, running or just chilling. You can spend time in the woods, around the fire pit, by the ponds or in whichever spot becomes your own favourite place. This immersion in nature will help bring you back in touch with what matters.
And because this is an ancient landscape you’ll be able to see the course of history and how it still influences us today. This relevance, hundreds or thousands of years on, will help you gain a sense of perspective, at a time when we’re facing rapid and chaotic change.
A home away from home
Orchard House is a home, and as such is a refreshing change from the impersonal venues where leadership development is usually held. This makes your experience more relaxed, more personal and is why the groups that come here form such strong relationships.
While you’re here you’ll enjoy complete privacy as you’ll have sole use of the whole house, garden and meeting rooms.
Famous Welsh cuisine
Monmouthshire is renowned for its food festivals and wonderful produce. We source all your food locally. While we encourage you to cook and eat together as part of your programme, if you’d prefer we can take care of all the catering through our local catering partners.
For larger groups
We can accommodate groups of up to 12 people in their own room at Orchard House. For larger groups we also use a hotel in the nearby village of Raglan.
Clothing
When you come to Orchard House you’ll be spending time outdoors, exploring the local landscape and immersing yourself in nature. If you take part in our equine facilitated coaching you’ll also be spending time with horses. Therefore, you will need outdoor clothing and strong shoes or boots.
Availability
Orchard house is available to hire for private or commercial use.
You can hire it for a day to hold a meeting or as a residential base for a longer programme. We can help facilitate your event although you’re also welcome to run it with your own team.
You can also hire Orchard House if you’re a coach and wish to run your own programmes in this exceptional place.
